The Sidings is defined by its use of Marziale brick, chosen for its tonal richness and subtle variations in colour and texture. This gives the façade warmth and depth, creating a strong architectural identity that sits comfortably within its urban setting while offering visual interest at every scale.
In collaboration with Techrete, the brick was incorporated into precast concrete panels to achieve precision, efficiency, and consistency across the elevations. This combination of traditional masonry character and modern construction techniques resulted in a façade system that is both durable and expressive.
Sustainability is central to the development, with The Sidings achieving LEED Platinum status through major reductions in energy and water use and the recycling of 93% of construction waste. Its cyclist-friendly design, WiredScore Platinum connectivity, and pre-assessment for WELL certification ensure the building delivers both environmental responsibility and high-quality, adaptable workspace.
