The façade at Beckett Locke is clad in Casa Lena brick providing a warm, stock‑faced masonry envelope that balances out the expansive glazing and steel elements typical of dockside architecture. The brick’s rich, multi-tonal surface, ranging in subtle variation, is set with precise mortar joints and deep reveals, adding texture, shadow and scale modulation to a building that spans eight storeys. Used in conjunction with a ventilated facade / SFS outer leaf system, the Casa Lena brick layer contributes both thermal mass and visual solidity, anchoring Beckett Locke in the industrial memory of Dublin’s waterfront while projecting a contemporary hospitality identity.
