At 53 Percy Place, Fortuna Roman Brick is used as a fundamental material to mediate between the Georgian terraces and more modern neighbours. The façades employ a regular, structured brick frame that evokes the proportions and texture of adjacent heritage buildings, with salmon‑coloured brick chosen to warm the street frontage while reflecting light off the canal. Balconies are recessed or carefully detailed to avoid interrupting the brick surface; window frames and metalwork are muted and refined to let the masonry take visual primacy.
